MEMBERSHIP GROWTH PLAN
The Purpose of this Plan for your club is to help you provide vision and focus for your Lions experience. New members equate to new blood and often get the older members rejuvenated in their Spirit of Lionism. However, don't just recruit members to boost membership, ensure that you have a need for those members and that you will put them to work after they join. You also need to consider the facilities that your club has available to hold meetings and to run functions and fundraisers. There are many resources within our District to help: our District website (Leadership Manual, Lions Tool Box and much more), your Cabinet officers and MERL Team and your Zone and Region Chairs). Do not hesitate to ASK as we are all here willing and able to help. When your club inducts new members, the inductions should be impressive, dignified and meaningful to the new members. You may want to consider holding a club training session on the responsibility of the sponsoring Lions.
